1. The speed and torque of the power head should meet the needs of the drilling process. 4. The diameter of the through hole of the main shaft of the power head should be matched with the drill pipe of the drilling rig to meet the requirement that the drill pipe can be loaded and unloaded before and after the power head.

5. The power head should rotate smoothly, with little vibration and noise.

6. The chuck should hold the drill pipe firmly and reliably. After the slips and the drill pipe are worn, the clamping force can be adjusted and compensated.

In the structural design, the planetary reducer is used as an independent component, which not only facilitates the lubrication of the planetary gear train, but also facilitates the maintenance or replacement of the underground planetary reducer. The planetary reducer is connected to the mounting plate of the planetary reducer at the rear end of the power head box with hexagon socket screws. Through the transition of the mounting plate of the planetary reducer, the interference between the planetary reducer and the tapered bearing at the rear end of the main shaft is avoided, and the small size can be reduced as much as possible. The center distance between the gear shaft and the main shaft reduces the volume and mass of the power head box.
